A four-click count-in, then the song. Taps are judged against the audio clock. Every tap tells you how it landed: Perfect, Great or Good, early or late. The record presses the song’s own loudness into the groove.
Sound and timing
A small chime on every hit, brightest for Perfect, softer for Great and Good. A low tap for a miss. A rising chord when the streak hits 10, 25, 50, 100 and 150.
If the game calls you late when you feel on the beat, slide right. Early, slide left. Bluetooth headphones often need +150 ms or more. Saved on this device, and written into each run code so the replay matches.
Tap the pad in time with the click, eight times. This sets the offset for you.
Tap a lane when its gem reaches the bar. Hold for a long note and release at its end. The meter under the bar shows each tap: left of centre is early, right is late. A missed gem leaves a red X in the groove.

Burn needs the Lab server, which is not in this build (Phase 2). Nothing is sent or charged here. The run code replays this exact record.
