Independent-dev CMMS with a full brand campaign. This site's predecessor.
piQ is a facilities management CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) that tracks assets, floor plans, work orders, person finder, and contractor availability across five independent properties. Built as a static-first Next.js app deployed to Vercel, it proved that sophisticated business software doesn't require bloat or monthly subscription costs.
Quaig OPS was its public face — the business-intelligence portal that fronted piQ and held this very domain before the NETWORK took over. It shipped with a complete AI-generated brand campaign: maximalist crustacean baroque. Crab-armed executives in gold aviators, Robot Coffee stone mosaics, a QUAIG OPS gold bar wired into glass machinery — hype films generated with Veo and Kling around a bespoke art direction. The suits have claws. The claws have taste.
This is independent-developer portfolio work: the builds flex full-stack capability (auth, role-based access, real-time health monitoring, inventory scans, Vercel one-click deploy). No vendor tie-ins, no black-box integrations. Every line of code owns the data it manages. The original Quaig OPS site lives on at its legacy address below.
